Paris’ Grand Palais, originally built in 1900 for the Paris Universal Exhibition (or World’s Fair), was designed by architects Henri Deglane, Albert Louvet, Albert Thomas, and Charles Girault. Recently restored by Chatillon Architectes, it now showcases 72,000 square meters of steel, wrought iron, and glass in a stunning display of artistry and craftsmanship — a modern architectural marvel. The building will be used to host fencing and taekwondo events during the upcoming Summer Olympics.
