20/11/19<br /> <br /> A flock of 500 free range geese take one of their final morning walks from their barn through the village of Croxton Kerrial.<br /> <br /> The geese, who have loved the recent rain and mud spend their day grazing in a field over-looked by the village church in Lincolnshire, before waddling back to their warm barn at Botterill & Sons Freerange Birds at dusk.<br /> <br /> You'll need to be quick if you want to have a gander at these feathery commuters, as the six-month-old birds will all take their last stroll through the village next week as demand for goose on the Christmas dinner table continues to rise year-on-year.<br /> <br /> The farm has a total of 1500 geese and also supplies turkeys, duck and chicken for Christmas.<br /> <br /> The geese have walked through the village for 30 years.<br /> <br /> <br /> All Rights Reserved: F Stop Press Ltd. <br /> +44 (0)7765 242650 www.fstoppress.com
