"Dezign Cluster" is a project featuring a collection of uniquely designed houses, each with its own distinct character, located in the heart of Bangkok's new urban area. The "Collection No.6" house is the first completed pool villa in this collection. It is designed with a strong inspiration to create a living space that feels like a tangible work of art, functioning as a life gallery. The design harmoniously integrates interior and exterior spaces, creating openings that merge these spaces into a unified whole.Collection No.6 is a three-story house that encloses an exterior courtyard, which includes a swimming pool and garden that seamlessly flow into the living space. The living area, the heart of the home, is designed as a communal area for family activities. A signature wall, crafted from natural stone with distinctive patterns, resembles a large natural painting and acts as a key element, connecting the outdoor space through the interior. Openings are strategically placed to link the central area with other spaces both horizontally and vertically, allowing green spaces to flow through the house—from the main courtyard through a small pathway beside the house—and connecting a double-volume space to a multi-purpose room and the roof garden on the upper level. The second floor comprises a multi-purpose room, a bedroom, and a roof garden. The multi-purpose room visually connects to the living space through a double-volume area, while the roof garden extends the landscape from the lower levels to the upper, enhancing spatial efficiency. This roof garden not only links with the multi-purpose room but also acts as a green boundary, providing privacy for the view from the bedroom on the second floor. Additionally, it offers a visual connection to the master bedroom on the third floor. On the third floor, which includes the master bedroom and an additional bedroom, the house's façade features a stone veneer pattern that extends beyond, framing the sky above and the roof garden below. This stone wall provides privacy for the master bedroom while serving as a stunning backdrop for the interior. For this feature, craftsmen and architects collaborated to arrange the modern veneer stone in a random pattern, selecting stones with varying colors and textures to create a tone variation that reflects a natural aesthetic. This approach highlights the diverse shades and textures of nature through modern materials. The core design principle of this house focuses on optimizing sunlight and wind direction. Solid walls are used to prevent heat, while openings facilitate effective cross-ventilation and create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. The architectural elements are crafted as individual pieces of art, allowing residents to 'paint their day' and experience a unique and artistic way of living.
