A public building inspired by the form of a whale swimming through water, with its body arching gracefully upwards. The tail and the two front fins rest on the ground, serving as the only structural supports for the building, while the rest of the structure is elevated 4 meters above the ground. The underside of the building is designed to evoke the belly of a whale, with galvanized steel panels arranged in long, rib-like lines that mimic the texture of whale skin. The whale's mouth remains closed, subtly hinting at the shape without being overt. Surrounding the main structure are four smaller, organically shaped buildings, resembling dark, jagged rocks. Originally square, they have been reinterpreted with flowing, natural forms. These ‘rock formations’ feature large glass facades that reveal bright, expansive interiors. The entire scene is set in an Icelandic landscape, with dramatic, rugged terrain, distant mountains, and a cold, atmospheric sky, further enhancing the natural and aquatic theme of the whale
