To showcase the connections between Nan Qiao high school, community and Singapore, aligning to Desired Outcomes of Education – Creator, Connector and Contributor as the running narrative for entrance and walls . 1. Featuring photographs of school milestone events in the year and school achievements (team or individuals) that exhibit the 21CC competencies and skills (inventive and communications) of ‘Creator, Connector and Contributor’ in both academic and nonacademic areas. 2. Featuring contemporary issues or stories that create civic literacy for staff and student to better understand and appreciate our social and cultural contexts and make more informed decisions. 3. To function as a platform for engaging students and staff integrating spaces for Power of Positivity (PoP) reflections. This aims to encourage individuals to perceive themselves as active participants in a national community of Creators, Connectors and Contributors. 4. To foster a sense of rootedness, belonging and identity amongst students and staff with the community. conceptualise a new walkway that is aligned to the objectives and seek to showcase how the desired outcomes of education, ‘Creators, Connectors, Contributors’ in school’s milestones events and achievements. It is an area of displays of how NCzens are connected to a global context and how they have the responsibility to continue displaying these qualities through school events and activities The design must be inviting to students and to achieve this, colours, images and installations must be attractive and inviting. The school colours are Red, Golden Yellow and Dark Blue. The Contractor shall incorporate innovative features to enhance interaction and demonstrate effective use of the available space. Innovative features should include but is not limited to: i. Supply 8 sets of visual equipment for broadcasting (news, facts, photos and videos of significant events) that allow for the content to be refreshed by the members of the school (as an option item) Wall 1 - 65 inch TV screen (est size) – 1 set Wall 2 - 65 inch TV screen (est size) – 1 set - 43 inch TV screen (est size) – 2 sets Wall 3 - 65 inch TV screen (est size) - 4 sets ii. Installation of 8 sets of visual equipment in part (i). iii. Supply and install information print using high quality digital print measuring Wall 1 (est L5600 x H2500mm) and Wall 2 (est L3000 x H2500 mm) and Wall 3 (est L10600 x H2200mm) with PVC backing for wall iv. Acrylic cut-out for the name in both English and Chinese characters for the TVs and walkway v. Manipulatives: Structures that can be rotated/ flipped open and close/pull and push at Wall 1 (as an option item) vi. Design and construct the frontage or façade of the walkway retain floor and ceiling
