Research project that develops flexible living models within vertical neighborhoods. "Olmo", one of the prototypes from this research, offers an innovative model where homes adapt as the people living in them do. The main idea is to add, shape, and remove rooms as needed, without having to worry about moving or renovations. The vertical neighborhood developed with the startup UpToUs focuses on building a community among residents. Spacious common areas include a coworking space, gym, independent shops, daycare, and plenty of other opportunities to meet and socialize. Our research is dedicated to bringing back neighborhood community into cities—just in a vertical way! the balcony railing is solid. The top floor of the building has facilities for the community living in the houses, like a daycare, gym, and library. The ground floor, on the other hand, includes a laundry room, Amazon lockers, access to the underground garage, technical rooms, and spaces for recycling.
