Kolmanskop - An abandoned jewel rises in the middle of the desert, just few steps away from the Atlantic Ocean. It is a pearl of beauty and silence as the majestic desert that embraces it. This small ghost town built in the middle of nothing and enclosed only by sand dunes, it is what remains of the un- bridled diamond rush, a remote past that no longer exists.Under the first morning lights, a thin and crisp fog rises from the ocean, creating a ghostly atmosphere.
