A peaceful and elegant Chinese-style courtyard surrounded by rustic green brick houses with exquisite dragon and phoenix decorations carved on the flying eaves and corners. In the centre of the courtyard is an exquisite stone-carved pool, in which blooming lotus flowers float quietly and several koi carp swim leisurely in the clear water. A stone bridge crosses the pool and leads to a small pavilion on the other side of the courtyard, supported by mahogany pillars, with grey tiles on the roof and red lanterns hanging around it, which swing gently with the breeze. Both sides of the courtyard are planted with emerald green bamboo, and when the breeze blows by, the bamboo leaves make a rustling sound, as if whispering. A cobblestone path winds through the courtyard, leading to a sitting area with stone tables and benches. A pot of freshly brewed tea is placed on the stone table, and the aroma of tea fills the air. Several pots of bonsai are placed in the corner of the courtyard wall, trimmed in an elegant and delicate way. A few plum trees can be seen in the distance, with a few pink and white plum blossoms dotted on their branches, as if adding a touch of poetry and spirituality to this classical courtyard. The whole courtyard is quiet and harmonious, full of natural atmosphere and traditional cultural flavour, a resting place away from the hustle and bustle of the world.
