A newly built international airport was built on the inland sea in the middle of the archipelago by reclaiming land from the sea. There is a cross-sea bridge connecting the airport and the islands, which can pass cars and trams. The airport itself has a large terminal building with at least 20 boarding gates, three main runways with a length of 3,500 meters each, and hundreds of aircraft hangars and aprons. There is also a passenger port outside the airport, which can berth two large passenger ships of less than 5,000 tons.
