They grow in a way that appears to blow down the bottom center part of the image and then split off. The heat of the convection is also a very visible tan and brown. The circle is closest to the bottom left corner and then turns on to the top right side. It is more illuminated by the sun that is causing the surrounding areas to look like a shade of red. The rest of the scene shows the blur of the inner layer of the air. A small, thin white cloud is barely visible, while the top portion of the image is obscured by the convection.
