The Big Adventure Once upon a time, there was a little boy called Tim. He was a curious boy who liked to find out about all the things around him. One day, Tim said, "I want to go on an adventure!" His mom said, "You can go, but be safe and come back before it gets dark." Tim was happy. He got his hat and his bag, and off he went. He wanted to see what he could find. First, he went down the hill and saw a stream. The water was so clear! He could see little fish swimming. "How fun!" said Tim. Next, Tim went into the woods. The trees were tall, and the air was cool. Tim looked up and saw birds flying. "I wonder how they fly so high," he said. He wanted to be like them and fly one day. As he walked deeper into the woods, Tim found a big rock. It was shaped like a chair. Tim sat on it and rested for a bit. "This is a good spot," he said. He took out his snack and ate it. After he was done, Tim looked around and thought, "I want to go to the top of that big hill." It was a long way up, but Tim was brave. He climbed and climbed until he got to the top. When Tim got there, he looked out and saw the world below. "Wow!" he said. "I can see so far!" He could see the trees, the stream, and even his house. "This is the best day ever," Tim said. He felt so proud that he made it to the top. But then Tim thought, "I must go back now. Mom said to be home before dark." So, he started to go down the hill. As Tim walked back, he saw all the things he had seen before: the big trees, the little fish, and the birds in the sky. But now, they felt like old friends. When Tim got home, his mom asked, "Did you have a good day?" Tim smiled and said, "Yes! I saw so many things, and I climbed a big hill. I had an adventure!" His mom hugged him and said, "I’m glad. Now it’s time for dinner." And that was the end of Tim’s big adventure, but he knew there would be more to come.
